Ranchi: Ejaz Anwar, Joint Secretary Rank officer of Jharkhand Administrative Service took over as Director Administration of Birsa Agricultural University on Thursday.

Anwar, earlier working as District Land Acquisition Officer, Garhwa has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Dept of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperation, Government of Jharkhand. He has additional charge at BAU.
After obtaining BSc from Ranchi University and MBA degree from Aligarh Muslim University, Anwar started his career as an officer of Bihar Administrative Service in the year 2000. He served on different administrative posts in Chatra, Saraikela, Chaibasa, Dhanbad, Simdega and Garhwa districts.
